VOLUNTEERING

CRCKY INTERNSHIP

CRCKY accepts application for part-time and full-time internships/practicums on a rolling basis.  Internships will be designed around the intern's area(s) of interest.  This is a particularly good internship if you are interested in learning about how to work with people from different cultures and if you are comfortable working with clients who have undergone trauma.  Applicants who are interested in learning how to help immigrants apply for asylum and work authorization are particularly needed, as are interns who know more than one language.  CRCKY is based in Lexington, Kentucky and interested applicants must be willing and able to work in our office.  For more information, email Dominique Olbert at dominiqueolbert@crcky.org.

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

If you are interested in becoming a CRCKY volunteer, please email Dominique Olbert at dominiqueolbert@crcky.org and complete our online application at the link listed below.  After the email and application are received, you will be contacted for an interview.
If you do not email dominiqueolbert@crcky.org after completing the online application, your application will not be reviewed.

BACKGROUND CHECKS

All volunteers with direct client contact are required to submit a background check before they can work with clients.  If you have a background check that is less than 2 years old, you do not need to obtain a new one.  Instead, please email a scanned copy to Dominique Olbert at dominiqueolbert@crcky.org.  If you need to obtain a new background check, please do so through one of the following agencies listed below.  If you live outside of Fayette County, you will need to contact your local county/state police department to get their local report, but Direct Screening works for anyone living outside Fayette.

Please email a copy of an electronic report to Dominique at: dominiqueolbert@crcky.org.
